To be a marathoner, I have to change my lifestyle to a more healthier and disciplined one.
I read forums, blogs and inquired expert runners on things that I encounter while training.
Injuries, diet, running gears...almost all related to running.
I also download a schedule training for a 21k (half marathon training) and I follow it as much as I can)
For this race, my schedule is short and may not complete it, I just did a 16km run as my longest run before this race.
From the start of the race, I feel good, I've had a complete warm up, prayers and mind setting. I will be running alone, no pacers. My goal is to run with a 6min/km to 6.5min/km.
I already passed the 16km mark, I can still run but I still do some walking as my original plan. I feel really good throughout the race. It feels great when I see the finish line, from today, I'm halfway to my goal.
Overall, this is a nice event, specially running with my family.
