Sole Racing..Minimal..

After my second race that I've been suffering on knee pain (ITBS), I'll make another research on how this kind of injury be eliminated. One option that came into my mind is to run barefoot.
They said barefoot running is good and also a way of some runners to run injury free or less injured.
But I think it's so weird and to painful to do, running in shoes with good socks still give my feet blisters, in my sole and toe fingers.
So I keep on looking for a way better than barefoot and there I see those Tarahumara style of running or the natural running.
my pair of huarache
Here are some facts about this technique.  http://naturalrunningcenter.com/2013/07/12/running-tarahumara/ Using this sandals was ok for me until the 17km of the route. From there, I feel that my toes and sole are already getting numb. My feet became heavy and my tired legs are about to cramp. I jog, walk and run and happily crossed the finish line.
Aside from numbness and threat of cramps, I don't have any injury using this sandals.
I need more training on this and I know it takes time.
I salute those runners whose use this kind of foot wear in long distance running, what a strong legs you've got.
For me, I think I will try first a minimalist shoes and get back to this after my legs became more stronger.
